For whatever reason you tried it, everyone said it was the IT tv show to watch and had possibly gotten awards, but you just couldn't get into it.
For me it was a lot..Breaking bad(dunno why), better call saul(dunno why), rick and morty, HIMYM(my bf really loved that show), Orphan black(the gay friend stereotype and it got boring seeing her be someone else(even though she was a good actress), orange is the new black(I liked their stories more than them being in that prison,) also a handmaidens tale(it is very interesting..but it sadly got boring for me..they could have done a lot of twists that i would have liked better..but they never came in time for me to stay:<.)
For me it was a Series of Unfortunate Events. Loved the book series. Tried to get into the show, but after two episodes I stopped because I just wasn't enjoying it. Still want to give it one more go.
The other one would be Clone Wars. I should love this because I'm super into the stories and details of the Star Wars universe, but I was bored. I have a hard time paying attention. Again, gonna give this one a go too.
I've been really into my reading lately so I think that may be part of why I'm not feeling shows atm. Also have become so into the instant gratification of my phone apps that I have to leave my phone across the room to prevent myself picking it up absentmindedly and ignoring the tv.
Better Call Saul - I started it and was like I don't see the cleverness of Breaking Bad here (which is a pity bc I really wanted to like it as I liked Saul as a character in Breaking Bad t__t)
Lost - and judging by the ending, I'm glad I didn't?
Arrested Development - did not find it funny at all and I love Jason Bateman as an actor so a big shame D:
Game of Thrones - medieval genre is just not for me
HIMYM - don't find it as funny as I want my sitcoms to be :x
yeah, there's probably more but those are the ones that come to mind right now
I could not get into Once Upon a Time, at all. The three episodes I watched were like torture. The only redeemable part was the costuming.
I also can't stand The Big Bang Theory.
Doctor Who -I just don't get the hype.... I find it very .... I don't even know sadly. :(
Gotham -I watched 3 episodes and just got bored. I like the Batman universe but this was just hard to watch.
Shameless -A lot of my family LOVES this show and I just dont get it. It is so not funny or interesting.
Orange is the New Black -Pass.
I really don't watch television much any more. Since I got back into reading I just find most shows to be... lame and tiresome.
Doctor Who and Stranger Things. Might still try to stick with Stranger Things but... meh. I'm like halfway through. Maybe it'll pick up more.
Walking Dead - Only watched a couple of episodes but man, never saw anything more boring. Oh, and then those main actors - big fat no thank you, never again.
Big Bang Theory - Pretty much a snooze fest to me. Couldn't get into it. Series of Unfortunate Events - Willing to give it one more go but chances are that I will just let it go. 13 reasons why - Finished that thing. Couldn't get into it. Stop romancing suicide, that's it. Stranger Things - I LOVE THE MOIST MONSTER and everything but the pacing is way too slow for me. I just can't go on and it saddens me. Doctor Who - Simply does not appeal to me. HIMYM - Cannot get into it and the humor is boring. 2 broke girls - Again humorless and boring.
I'm forgetting a lot of them ... probably! haha
Most shows featuring time-travel I can't seem to get into, such as Doctor Who as it is too convoluted and confusing for me to keep up with! Also I like the medical aspect of Grey's Anatomy, but the drama aspect has keep me from watching past the medical stuff!
FWIW I absolutely love HIMYM and basically watch it daily, I think the sense of humor comes off differently to different people c:
I absolutely loved Firefly, but tried to get into Castle like three times.. I just find the plot completely uninteresting.
I really don't get Doctor Who either XD I think it was interesting to watch, but not interesting enough for me to want to watch another show.
Merlin, Buffy, Family Guy, South Park, Simpsons, One Tree Hill, Frasier, Seinfeld, Once Upon A Time
maybe one day I'll enjoy them. I could have given some of them more of a chance, I'll admit. But I don't want to make an efforted to get addicted. That seems kind of masochistic lol
like how on earth did 2 Broke Girls even get so popular I DON'T GET IT
.: draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :.
orange is the new black, adventure time, friends, firefly
can only think of those rn
<( )
Friends. It was just boring. I loved Will & Grace and thought they'd be similar but Friends just wasn't funny to me. Breaking Bad. Gross. Walking Dead. Also gross, plus the plot was exhausting. I can watch a zombie movie and then after a couple hours it's over and you can enter real life again, but with WD it's that horrible story episode after episode. Sex and the City. Boring and too crude for my taste. Lost. Plane crashes are my worst nightmare and I just couldn't get past that aspect.
Many more that I can't think of.
I agree! Although I started in the middle of an episode when I first saw it so that made it super confusing haha!
- So glad I'm not the only one who just couldn't get into Stranger Things!
Supernatural is probably the big one for me, I watched the whole first season begrudgingly and then I just had to stop. IDGI. How did that show have like 10 seasons??
- Castle and Firefly are VERY different shows. I also could never get into Castle. Crime serials aren't really me thing. Also, my opinion of Nathan Fillion has significantly changed between the two. He's kind of an ass.
Game of Thrones. It left a bad taste in my mouth and the books were so purple prose-y for my liking... just no.
Life in Pieces. How I met your Mother. Friends. Big Bang Theory. (List's too big, I don't really watch TV cuz nothing interests me much as far as American TV goes.)

First thing that came to mind was Steven Universe. It seems like everyone and their mother shits their pants over this show, and I'm just like.... why? I tried to watch it once, but only got annoyed with it.
And then there's pretty much every and all shows with canned laughter that I could care less for. Friends, Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory, etc.
Orange is the New Black. I watched the first two seasons and couldn't force myself to watch anymore
Vikings. I don't know. Maybe it was my tv but the screen was always really dark and I could barely hear anything that was going on, even with the volume super loud. It sounded like everyone was speaking with a mouth full of mashed potatoes.
